Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 11:30 amβ9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (215) 600-2629. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, pizzeriavetri.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 1,373 reviews, which is a strong result for a pizza restaurant in Philadelphia and suggests consistent service.
Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Philadelphia is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I was in the mood for pizza and decided to order takeout because I heard really good things about this place. I ordered a small sausage and fennel pizza and added pepperoni. In total with tip, it was $28.91. As I ate the pizza, I couldnβt help but realize how similar it is to Snap Custom Pizza. And thatβs honestly wild considering I paid almost $30 for the same size and quality I could get for $13 at Snap. The pizza was alright and the fennel was a nice touch, but this place is definitely overrated in my opinion. It was fun to try though!

Pizzeria Vetri has the best pizza not just in Philly, but in the country. My family and I have been coming here for over 10 years. The authentic brick-oven Neapolitan pizza tastes exactly like the pizza I had when I traveled to Italy, and it is as good as it gets! The dough is fermented 4 days in advance, making it so much more delicious (and so much healthier, too!). The seasonal pizzas are always changing, so there's always something new on the menu, and the classics are always there for you. My wife absolutely loves the rotolo, a unique appetizer that can only be found at Pizzeria Vetri. The Limoncello Spritz is my absolute favorite drink anywhere, made with homemade Limoncello based off of the manager's personal family recipe from his Grandmother (how authentically Italian is that?!). Speaking of which, for anyone who loves to experience Italian culture - Pizzeria Vetri is as authentic as it gets! We feel like we're stepping back into Italy every time we walk through the door. The staff is as friendly as can be, and they are very welcoming to families with kids. We can't say enough good things about Pizzeria Vetri and can't wait for our next visit soon!!! Best restaurant in all

Unique, gourmet, artisanal pizza! Personal fan of the fennel pizza and mushroom pizza. Thin, crispy, crust with distinct toppings you wont likely find anywhere else. Great if you are an adventurous foodie. Pricing is higher than regular pizza. I paid about $23 for a 4-slice personal pizza pie. Extraordinary pricing for extraordinary pizza. A favorite for local architects.

Really clean, fresh, homemade ingredients, you can taste the freshness in each bite, highly recommend their happy hour for their great value pizzas and spritzes, plus you get a nice skyline view of the buildings. Highly recommend for after a long day of walking around the museums for some fancy tasting drinks and pizzas that will soothe your soul!! And very attentive service as well!
